About Ezalife

Our Mission

Simple, Safe, Secure.

Our primary intent is to improve quality of life for patients with simple to complex needs. Our products not only reduce the risk of post-operative complications, but also allow patients to return to their daily lives more quickly and confidently.

Our Story

One doctor's need to find a better way.

The idea for Ezalife's first product began in the operating room. Pediatric surgeon Steve Moulton would all too frequently be revisited by patients whose gastrostomy buttons had become infected or dislodged. The simple tape-and-gauze securement for g-buttons wasn't doing a good enough job, and Dr. Moulton thought "there has to be a better way".

In 2016, Dr. Moulton began working with graduate engineering students at the University of Colorado Boulder to design and develop simple, safe securement methods to improve post-op care and patient quality of life. in 2019, Dr. Steve Moulton teamed up with one of the primary inventors of the Button Huggie, Tyler Mironuck, and founded Ezalife LLC.
