How often should the base layer be replaced?

The base layer should adhere to the skin for at least one week, however, it may last longer. Change the base layer when the adhesive begins to peel off the body.

How can I make the process of removing the base layer less uncomfortable?

The adhesive is easiest to remove when exposed to water. It is best to remove the base layer while the child is in the shower or tub.
